Doctor Who yönetmenlerinden Christopher Barry hayatını kaybetti!

Doctor Who ve sevilen birçok dizide yönetmenlik görevinde bulunmuş olan tecrübeli yönetmen Christopher Barry 88 yaşında hayata gözlerini yumdu.

Christopher Barry, İngilizlerin klasikleşen bilim-kurgu serisi Doctor Who'nun hafızalarda iz bırakan önemli bölümleri de dahil olmak üzere birçok bölümünde yönetmenlik koltuğuna oturmuştu.

HAFIZALARA KAZINAN BÖLÜMLERDE...

Doctor Who orijinal serisinde en uzun süre yönetmenlik yapan isim olan Barry, 1963 senesinde ekranlara gelen 'The Dead Planet' bölümünün yönetmeniydi.

Ve bu bölümde Dalek'ler ilk kez izleyicilerle tanıştırılmıştı.

EMEKLİYE AYRILMIŞTI

İlerleyen yaşı nedeniyle uzun süredir yönetmenliği bırakan ve emekliye ayrılan Barry Oxfordshire'da yaşamını sürdürüyordu.

1963-1979 seneleri arasında Doctor Who'da görev alan Barry'nin yönetmenlik yaptığı bölümler şöyle:
